Gene and Family

I just wanted to let you know how grateful I am that Kristy and I found you and your wonderful dogs.  The boys are doing well they love to play and rough house as much as humanly possible.  When we lost Harley I was absolutely devastated and swore I would never have another dog but when we found you both Teddy and Boxer remind me so much of Harley and I always have wondered what Harley would think if we ever got another Lab, but the more I see Boxer and Teddy they remind so much of Harley that he is back home with us and for that I am truly thankful to you and your family for bringing joy into our house.  While they are a handful they are great pair of dogs that have given us  a great feeling of joy.  Again thank you so much for allowing us to have the boys

Hello Gene and Sherri:

Just wanted to let you know that Colby aka Sniper is doing wonderful.   He knows his new name, eats like there's no tomorrow and knows to do his business outside.  We take him for a walk in the morning and at night and boy does he walk on the leash fantastic.   He's a real joy.

He's been a big hit on our street.  Everyone has been going crazy over him.  One of my neighbors wanted to me ask you if you will having a litter with one of your other female dogs.  She is looking for a yellow lab.  If you wouldn't mind, it would be great if you could let me know.

Oh and by the way, he now weighs 20 lbs.   Our vet said he's in great shape and we have you to thank.  I should have named him "Baby Jaws".  He loves to bite our feet and pull my earrings off.  He's very silly and playful.  We love him!

Hope to hear from you soon.   Take care!

Debbie

Dear Gene and Sherri,
Jeff and I wanted to tell you that Delta now known as Sammy is safe in his new home. After a long tiring ride home on Saturday evening, we spent all of Sunday helping him to get acclimated to his new surroundings.
Our home is a spacious ranch and as you know, we have a half an acre fenced yard. He has been so much fun and is fitting right in. I can tell he was well cared for as a puppy!
As for you and your family, the five boys, we were very impressed and can see how your lives have been blessed. It is obvious you work hard to make your family the top priority. We will keep in touch.
Take care of those beautiful dogs!

Jeff and Tammy

Hey Gene and Sherri,

Just a quick update on Libby. She's growing like a weed and her and Uncle Murphy continue to be good buddies. Once a day they have a wrestling match and it's pretty funny to watch. If I think of it, I'll send you a quick 40 second video I took with my camera that shows one
such match. I've been working on getting her to come using little treats and she's doing great with that. The house training is going real good as well. I come home every day at lunch to let her and Murphy out. I think I'll keep that up for another couple week or so.

She's a happy puppy and all our friends think she's pretty special. Jenny is doing well with her and playing with her daily.

Here's a few more of the latest pics of her and Murphy.

Take care. Hope all is well.

Pete

Hi Sherri & Gene,

Just wanted to send you a couple of updated photos of Sadie.  We absolutely love her.
We did keep the name Sadie.  She's growing like a weed.  She was 10 pounds when
you sent her to us and now she is 31 pounds.  She loves to go for walks with us and
wants to be wherever we are.  Sadie is a typical puppy, chewing and biting anything that
comes near her mouth.  She loves the snow and is mostly interested in eating it.

Have a wonderful holiday season!
Thank you again,
Nancy & Jon

I bought a black lab off you that was once known as Whisper.  Her new name is Kaysen Knight and I just wanted to let you know that I could not be happier with my purchase.  Kaysen has proven to be a very loyal dog and very smart.  The exposure which your boys give these puppies is wonderful because Kaysen loves my nieces and nephews and is great with them along with all of the other kids in the neighborhood.  She is also very friendly when it comes to any other animal considering I have recently moved in with my sister and they have a German Shepard.  I wanted to send you some pictures of her, so you could see what a beautiful dog she is becoming.  So I hope you enjoy the pictures.  Once again thanks for a wonderful dog I hope that when I am able to buy my own place that you are still in business because I would love to buy another one, one day.
Jessica

Gene & Sherri,

Just an update on what Leo is up to these days.  We had a busy and fun summer camping, travelling, hiking, swimming, and of course Leo loved it all.  He celebrated his first birthday in August in Yellowstone National Park, how time flies!  I can't even remember what it was like before we had our favorite puppy, he makes every activity more exciting and fun!

People are always telling us how beautiful he is, and he is shaping up into the perfect gentleman.  He still chews on the cat, but Buzz doesn't seem to mind all that much anymore :)

Leo has done nothing but bring smiles to peoples' faces since he arrived.

Thank you!
Heidi & Jameson

I’m sending along a photo of our boys, Ethan, Gerrit, and Matt with Breda. We live near lake Michigan and Breda goes swimming a lot. She loves the water and doesn’t want to leave when we go to the beach. We couldn’t be happier with Breda – she’s such a good natured dog who loves people and is a wonderful companion for us and the boys. We have an electric fence that surrounds our yard and our neighbors so Breda and her buddy Charlie – a great Pyrenees -- hang outside most of the day, stalking squirrels and the UPS man. It’s pretty funny.

Thanks, Michelle

 Gene & Sherri,

What a great second year it has been!  The past six months have shown a marked change in Leo's behavior for the better.  He is graduating from puppyhood with flying colors!  He is calmer, more attentive and more contented.  People still comment on how beautiful he is, but now we get just as many compliments on his charming personality and manners.

We just returned from the Chesapeake Bay where he spent the whole week swimming and digging, what fun!  For a big dog (75lb), he travels so well we have never had to kennel him.   He camps, stays in hotels, visits family & friends, all with ready kisses and a happy tail.

He needs plenty of excercise or he tends to put on weight, but he is always so enthusiastic about going on a W-A-L-K (I think he knows how to spell it by now), that it is always a pleasure to take him.

Hope all is well with you and yours, many blessings to you in the coming year!

Sincerely,
Heidi & Jameson

Hi everyone this is Mitra. We Bought Pickles from you last may. And We wanted to update you. We now call him Buddy, and he is the perfect dog! the first day we had him he knocked on the door to go out! He only had two accidents, and thats it. He was fully potty trained. He is so sweet and a great companion. We all love him and he is so cute. He is very smart and was easy to train. We are so happy that we bought from you guys, and encourage more people to do the same. Thank You So Much!

 Hi Sherry,

I appologize for taking so long to update you on Luke a.k.a. Donner.  I had trouble getting the pictures to e-mail.  He is doing wonderful!  He went to the vet last week and weighed 27.6 lbs. and is as healthy as can be.  Everyone loves him.  The pottytraining went extremely well.  It was very helpful to have 2 1/2 weeks here with him full time.  He has also done great with his crate training having only had one accident.  He has such a cute personality and is constantly wanting to play.  I can't wait until Spring gets here so we can get him out and play in the yard.  He is such a joy to have with us.  I hope you enjoy the attached pictures and that you and your family are doing well.
Take care,
Lisa

Hi Gene and Sherri and family,

It has been a while since we got Christy from you (last August) but I thought I would drop you a note to let you know how well she is doing. After much deliberation, the kids decided on the name "Penny" for her. Penny, at 8 months, weighs 62 lbs., and is all muscle! She is quite affectionate, especially with our youngest daughter who is 5. She has beautiful deep brown eyes that remind me of Axil's. House training came easy for her and we continue to work on her gneral obedience, seeing improvements each week. She is truly the family companion we were looking for! I have attached a picture of her resting with 2 of the kids.

Thanks

 Sherri,
Chuck had a 3 pound advantage when we brought them home but a size difference really wasn't that apparent. Katie can easily out run Chuck and holds her own when they play hard. From the beginning, we kept track of feeding for both as Chuck pretty much inhales his food and Katie is just a dainty little girl who chews and takes her time. They have had all of their shots and  have been micro-chipped  and licensed. The only negative to the whole experience is water consumption. Katie has grown out of it but, Chuck will drink until he falls over. Toilet seat control is mandatory!    Bob

 Hello Sherri and Gene,

We are the crazy couple from Michigan who came to you the week before Christmas in an ice storm for a puppy.  We  have been trying to get a good picture of Monty to send and finally have one that shows you how handsome he is at 10 months.  Monty is a fantastic dog with an extremely mellow personality and beautiful conformation.  As you can see he has a gorgeous coat and at 10 months is 65 lbs.  Monty is the sweetest dog we have ever had.  He goes to work with Bill at the veterinary hospital frequently and loves to socialize with the clients and their animals.  Monty has barked once since we have had him. He assumes the entire world loves him (and they do).  He is just so lovable-wonderful with children and always with us.  His only challenging behavior is that he loves to play with other dogs.  He loves every dog he meets!!  Monty has been to obedience classes and has learned to swim in our lake.  He has a great life!  I believe Monty looks a lot like his mother - Bailey.

You have an exceptional line of Labradors- Monty is so calm and eager to please.  We are really enjoying his addition to our family.
Sorry it has taken this long for a  picture but we wanted a good one. We continue to keep up with your website.  Looks like you have been busy!

thank you again,

Bill and Diane

We love Reggie so much and he is an awesome dog.  He travels with us to all the soccer games at home or away.  He is the best puppy we have ever had.  No messes in his kennel and very few in the house. Reggie is so socialable and friendly and adorable.  He now weighs 20.6 lbs as of Tuesday, almost tripled in size since we got him Aug. 17th.  I am recommending your kennel to everyone who asks.  Hope it gives you more business.  Thanks so much.  Tamma

 Hello Sherri,
I just wanted you to know that Chris took "Gretchen" (new name "Maddie") to the vet yesterday and she received a clean bill of health. The vet was very impressed with the "package" that you provided - - - both vaccination information and puppy :-) Maddie hasnt had an "accident" in the house or crate since she has been at her new home. She goes to bed around 10pm in her crate and is taken outside at 2:30am and again at 6:00am when everyone in the house is up. (and at regular intervals during the day) We are wondering how much crate training was done by you and your family since she is well on her way to being potty trained already.
I should add that everyone thinks that she is adorable :-)

Thanks,
Laura and Chris

 Hi Gene and Sherri,

Hope things are going well for you. Just wanted to let you know how our amazing puppy is doing:)). Oso (it means a bear in Spanish:))) has been absolute joy for us and such a wonderful dog. Since the day we brought him home, it felt that he was part of the family for the long time. He never cried and barely had any accidents in the house. But this little baby is become a big dog now. We are attaching a few pictures of him we took this morning. Now Oso is 4 months old and weighs about 45 pounds.

Thanks again for such amazing puppy, we feel that Oso is everything we have been looking for. Hope you like the pictures and have a wonderful holodays.

Sincerely,
